Highest mountain of the world (everest base camp trek)

Everest Base Camp Trek has been a centre of attraction for trekkers and climbers since 1953 designated on the lap of world highest peak Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha). Everest BC trekking takes you to the land of Sherpa’s where romanticist finds their each step following the footsteps of Hillary, Tensing and other explorers. The Everest base camp trek 16 Days trail climbs through the foothills of the world’s highest mountain offering some of the most spectacular scenery and challenging trekking experience in Nepal. The Everest Base Camp trek, a very well known mountain trek, starts at the upper Phakding and follows the Dudh Kosi valley which climbs up to the Sherpa capital of Namche.

Everest Base Camp treks begin with scenic flight to Lukla and descending to the village of Phakding and then following the Dudh Koshi valley. From Namche Bazaar, we trek along a high traversing path where we have our first good views of Everest and then head towards Thyangboche Monastery. We descend to the Imja Khola and climb downward to the local villages of Pangboche and upward to Pheriche observing remote-inhabitants’ standard of living before finally approaching the Khumbu Glacier. As we pass through rocky trails, the crisp mountain air, the gurgling glacial rivers and the views of Everest and other mighty mountains begin to look more familiar and friendly. We stay in rural tea houses along the way, allowing you to experience traditional Nepalese hospitality and relax in rustic comfort after a hard days walking. Price For The Trip:

The total cost for the trek or tour you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu will make a difference to the overall cost (budget to 5 star accommodation). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The number of guides and/or porters required will also affect the total cost of your trek. For these reasons the same trek/tour can vary in price quite substantially.
